Untouchable Holy Cow

The speaker of the House of Representatives Ms. Nancy Pelosi repeatedly and categorically refused to answer the media questions about her knowledge of enhanced interrogation techniques.
If she knew about any illegality and did not reveal it, it makes her an accomplice.
If Ms. Pelosi is telling the truth and the CIA did not warn her about enhanced interrogation, and she was kept in the dark, it is her duty to enlighten the situation. However, if she lied and knew everything, she committed acts of perjury and defamation. When her conscience relaxed, the Speaker got a thought and she exploded in different contradictive variations, so we heard what she hated, and hated what we heard.
She proclaimed, “I will stand by my comments. The CIA misled me and I knew nothing about water-boarding.”
But the country was puzzled: what comments?
The Speaker, it seems, made a decision to put a stop sign on any discussions. However, she will not succeed. The American people will be left with a question mark and continue to dig for the truth. Ignorance is surely a wrong choice of weapon.
Ms. Pelosi was caught between a hammer and hard place. She could not find anything better than to turn the tables on the CIA.
The mad chicken tried to peck over a bunch of eagles (CIA). But if she wins, the country will lose.
Maybe her mantra is “attack is the best defense, blame it on others, honesty is not the way to self honesty.”
She did not calculate her behavior. The Speaker is not David winning over Goliath. David fought for the right cause and therefore won. Selecting CIA as scapegoats and enemies of the country was not the best choice and this clearly shows a level of intelligence and morality of the third person in line of power.
Slander-boarding of the CIA, perversion of facts, matter of fact, is constipation of conscience together with diarrhea of labeling.
I won’t believe such accusations were made under a stressful impulse, but it is not forgivable for a statesperson. “Word is not a sparrow, it will get out, and there is no way to catch it.” “It is easier for a camel to get through the needle’s eye” than for Ms. Pelosi to get out from the noose she herself put on her neck.
Making a mistake and stubbornly refusing to correct it would annoy all of us and create a pattern of very peculiar behavior, putting her integrity in question. Regrettably, on the way to the truth, she slipped on the red light and continued to drive in the wrong direction. The mouth of Ms. Pelosi became a significant memorial of indecency, may be most visited place in Washington.
In addition, regarding the House democrats, they show no respect for law, and anonymously and unconsciously voted to support the one of their own. It is a pity but this cover-up comradeship worked very effectively. Democrats DEMONstrated a united front in defense against enhanced investigation of their leader. As usual, they noticed every little match in the Republican eye and do not care about the large beam in their own. Considering current moral thinking, maybe Ms. Pelosi is too big to fall out, therefore, she’s entitled to bail out.
Honesty, prudency and accountability are considered small chips in the political arena. However, the country demanded and wanted transparency.
